Adagio is a set of Microsoft Windows accounting programs for companies with annual revenues of up to $50 million. It has been especially designed as an upgrade path for users of the well-seasoned DOS accounting system, ACCPAC® Plus™, but is equally well-suited for companies who are just starting to automate their accounting system or who are ready to trade up to a very powerful multi-user system.

For ACCPAC Plus users, Adagio is the best of all worlds. Without converting their database and learning completely new programs, ACCPAC Plus users get the graphical benefits of Windows yet still take advantage of their years of experience and the hundreds of 3rd Party programs that work with their database.

Adagio modules are specifically written to work in the Microsoft Windows environment yet they integrate fully with the database structure of ACCPAC Plus. Each Adagio module has been written for Microsoft Windows to exacting standards; they are not just a "front end". However, to allow ACCPAC Plus clients a risk-free move to Adagio, an equivalent database structure was used. This means that the ACCPAC Plus DOS modules can still work when the new Adagio Windows modules are installed.
