Maternity Leave Information

Dear clients,

As you may know, Brad & I are expecting our first child on April 8, 2005. Below are my maternity-leave plans (dates subject to change based on when our son decides to arrive), as well as some important phone #’s for you to have.

This website page will have the most up-to-date information, so please check back often. We promise to post pictures as well, as soon as we are able to.

May 16th, 2005 - We are back at work on a limited part-time basis. If you need more immediate assistance, please feel free to contact Softrak or Wellspring for Adagio and PrintBoss issues.

April 9th, 2005 - Daniel George Quick arrives! All 10 lbs, 1oz and 21.5 inches of him.

March 19th, 2005 - We are now on maternity leave. Please see the information below if you need assistance with your accounting software. We will not be taking phone calls, voice messages or emails while on leave. We will be posting pictures when we are home from the hospital, and those will be on our sister site, www.audreygayle.com.

We will no longer be making any client visits. We are happy to assist you via telephone, internet (PC Anywhere or GoToAssist) or email.

For clients with non-urgent questions, we are also recommending two technical support forums. The first is run by Softrak's technical support department. You must have a current upgrade or upgrade/support plan to post, and posting will require registration. (this is free!). Softrak's technical support analysts monitor this board quite frequently, and the quality of responses is superb. Softrak's Discussion Forums

A second forum, Plus Community, is frequented by other end users, dealers and Softrak. You do not need to be on any upgrade or support plans, but you will need to register to use this forum (this is also free). The quality of responses will vary.

We will not be making any client visits after March 15th. If you would like us to visit you for yearend processes, please make arrangements with us to visit earlier than mid-March. Once our baby arrives, we anticipate staying home a full month with him. After that first month, we hope to have part-time childcare arrangements, and we will let you know which days of the week we are available for visits.

We highly encourage you to make use of the GoToAssist technology, which allows us to have access to your computer (with your permission, of course) thru the Internet. We will continue to support our clients via telephone and GoToAssist (or PCAnywhere) thru the end of March. (Unless our baby decides to arrive early!). We will be available by phone and the Internet 2-3 weeks after we are home from the hospital. The cost for the GoToAssist service is the fee that we pay, $1/minute.

While we are away on Maternity leave (from the start of labor till 2-3 weeks after delivery), we will not be available by phone, email or smoke signals. We recommend Softrak’s excellent technical support department for any Adagio related questions. They can be reached at 604-736-3741. If you have a support/upgrade contract with Softrak, there is no charge for you to call them. If you have just an upgrade contract, you can either have them upgrade you to a support plan, or pay a per incident charge for the support. In either case, you can ask Softrak to bill AGS Enterprises for your support, and we will in turn bill you, when we return from maternity leave. This will allow you access to support, without needing a credit card. If you have any PrintBoss issues, you can call Wellspring Software at 636-527-6100. If you are having ACCPAC Plus issues and think you have damaged data, Softrak has an excellent data repair service. Again, you can make the same billing arrangements as for support.

We are recommending that you do not make any major changes to your hardware or network configuration while we are away. Also, if you order blank check stock, pre-printed check stock or any other types of forms from us, we suggest that you check your supply levels now so that you are not running out of forms while we are away. We’d be happy to take care of your reorders in the next few weeks.

Thank you for your understanding.
